Trans Euro Trail - Albania - Gramsh

Thursday 13th July 2017

We drove across to Gramch on what was marked as a main road, the SH71. After the village of Maliq the road turned to dirt. As we approached the town of Zvarlisht we started to see a huge dam building project underway. The good side to this was the change back to tarmac and the quality of it, black and shiny new, virtually no tyre marks on it, it’ll be interesting to come back in a few years and see what the place looks like when it’s finished.

We were randomly stopped by another police guy at one point, who when he realised we couldn’t understand him, just waved us on, we have no idea why he stopped us but hey.

I opted to dog sit by the river for the afternoon so Lucy could go ride the section we’d missed out, so she’ll write up on this bit after.
